I was watching Chasing Classic Cars and Wayne was looking at a Volvo with 3.2 million miles that one guy put on it. (Guinness record)
So I looked up the story..
https://www.roadandtrack.com/car-cul...1800-obituary/
It says he hit 3 million miles in 2013, so being a 1966 that would be 47 years of an average 63,829 miles per year or 174.8 miles a day 7 days a week for 47 years.. Guy's a driving maniac.
Then I was thinking how long would that take driving, say at an average of 40 mph to log 3 million miles, I get 8.5 years 24/7 in the drivers seat.
Also in the story..
"At the million-mile mark, Volvo gave Gordon a brand-new 780 coupe, which he drove for 450,000 miles then sold" In his spare time ..
