What battery do I need to install when I convert my 1956 850 to 12 volt? I will be adding electronic ignition and doing away with the points.

I like the group 21 or 26 batteries.

Group 35 or 25 are almost dead ringers in dementil size to a group 1 6 volt battery. The group 35 12 volt battery will have the + terminal in toward the air cleaner and rearward or toward the steering gear. The group 25 will have the + terminal forward or toward the engine and in toward the air cleaner
