1620 4x4 Ford hydraulic

My 1620 4x4 with front loader, pushes the oring out of the hydraulic filter and gushes the fluid out. Is there an adjustable pressure valve or do need to replace a faulty pressure valve? Where is the pressure valve located? thank you, gregjo1948

The hydraulic filter goes to the suction side of the pump so pressure setting would not be the problem. The HST filter is in one of the lines going to the transmission oil cooler and is most likely the one you are having trouble with. Are you sure you are using the correct filter?

Had the same issue on a Ford 1520 I own. Napa hydraulic filter installed, would blow the O ring right away.
This would only happen when the colder weather started, was fine in the summer. Switched to Ford NH filter
and problem solved. Cut the Napa filter apart and found paper element that would not allow at flow at colder temps.
Hope this helps!
