I have had the tractor for a year and all went well. Today I could not move the gear lever into reverse, just would not budge. In neutral on the 1 to 4 +reverse lever, moving the high - low gear lever into either position, the tractor will move forwards upon clutch release. Trying to engage a gear without clutch, no sounds of teeth meshing.
I read on the Forum that the end of the gear lever where it enters the selector sometimes wears i.e. not moving selector correctly.
Any ideas or checks to make before I remove the cover and investigate.
