Ford 7600 won't move?

It will move a few feet when you first start it up on level ground then just come to a stop. The pto and hydraulics don't work
either. How likely is it that the coupler in the flywheel is striped? Just asking before I split it. Thanks

Be sure the spline count on the flywheel hub and the shaft are the same when you order parts. The spline count changed at some point over the years.

Several yrs ago my 6700 stopped moving while attempting to relocate from 1 hay field to another during attempting to rake hay. My tractor required a double split to replace trans input shaft due to worn splines.

I’m a little late but if your tractor has dual power make sure there’s enough hydraulic oil in the rear end! Had this happen to our tw-25 a couple months ago, lost all the hydraulic oil due to a cracked metal line and stopped dead in its tracks in the field. Dual power won’t be able to engage if there isn’t enough oil. I know our 7600 has dual power, I’m hoping yours does too and that’s the issue!
