Would the engine from a 7600 bolt into a 5000?

Direct swap other than tach turns opisite direction. 7600 proably has cardon shaft splines stripped in flywheel adapter why doesnt move.

So do you mean the hub that bolts to the flywheel, part 8696827? Does the pump that runs the Dual Power also run off of the PTO shaft? Does the dual power need pressure to run in both low and high? Just asking because an Oliver would move in low because a sprag clutch would still pull. New to Ford! Thanks!

Yes Hyd pump makes 3 point work and it has piggy back pump that makes PTO and Dual Power work in both Hi and Lo.

hELLO Shaun--other Ford guys. I have a Ford 5000 flat deck. I have a Mott hammer mower hooked hooked to it. When I start the PTO it kind of spools up to speed on the PTO. IT GOES UP QUICKLY, but not as fast as some of my other tractors. Is this normal....Some tractors when the PTO is engaged they are at full PTO speed fight now. The 5000 is not quite as fast..............on the start up...

My 5000s pto engages slow of course I engage at idle then throttle up. Has unknown hrs on it. Pedals are well worn.
