PTO spacer for belt pulley

I have several.

Do you need the PTO pulley and/or the buzz saw bracket as well?

There are multiple styles of PTO pulley spacer. All are functional. Are you particular regarding style?

I don't know what the pulley is for, but when we put the our 8n pulley on our Ford 4410, we just stacked washers.

I bought a belt pulley for a Ford on Ebay. I own a 1964 MF 35. Tractor supply sells a 1 3/8” female to 1 1/8” male. I just don’t know where these spacers are sold or how to find them. I want to run my great grandads buzz saw it’s in great shape. Sorry for rambling. I’d pay above fair price for a spacer.

Thank you,
Maylon

If Dean don't have what you need I can check with a friend who has one like mine. When adding a spacer you might have to change the length of your belt to operate properly

The adapter I saw would add 4”. I haven’t bought a belt yet. Is there an ideal length?

Thanks,

I do not think that new PTO pulley spacers are commercially available anymore because few use belt power.

Are you aware that adding the spacer changes the geometry of the buzz saw mechanism. This affects the functionalkity of the belt tightening feature of the Dearborn saw. I'm not sure how well it will work.

In any event, to use a Dearborn buzz saw with your PTO pulley, you will need both spacer/adapter and buzz saw bracket. I have both and have both styles of spacer shown above.

My email is open on classic.

Dean

The pictured saw is not a Dearborn saw and appears to be a stand alone unit.

If so, the buzz saw bracket is not needed.

How much belt do you think I need? Also, The reason I was interested in the spacer is because I have to put an adapter on the PTO shaft which will lengthen things. I wanted to be able to bolt the the pulley up snug you know. Any feedback or thoughts in general please. I'm just trying to do what is needed to turn that saw blade.
Thanks,

Was this on a farmall or other narrow front row crop Possibly mounted to the front. It looks like belt pulley is off to the side on the saw and might have been used with a side pulley on the tractor like on the F or N series fordson. Here is what my dearborn looks like. note the pulley on the saw in the middle so will line up with the 3pt system and pulley on the tractors PTO. This one is for sale if you have an interest and is in better shape than what you have but I also understand wanting to keep something of your great grandpa's and bring it back to life again. As Dean said It appears not to have be worked in conjunction with the 3pt system. So you will have to rig something up. What convenient about the 3pt saws is that you can drive the tractor and cut the would were the tree fell instead or dragging the wood to the saw. Also hit the link for 3pt operation
