NAA remote for hydraulics

I have an NAA that the rear three point works fine. I bought a front end loader to add to the tractor recently. In order to feed pressure to the control valves on the loader I used a 'remote' controller that mounts on the top of the hydraulic case.
When I pull the knob out to send pressure to the loader nothing happens and no fluid comes out of the hose to valves, yet when I push it in the three point continues to work perfect - what gives??
If the three point didn't work I would suspect the hydraulic pump to be faulty, but it works just fine.
Does the lever for draft control have any bearing on this system either??
About to pull what little hair I have left out with this problem - help!

I don't know what you have for a valve as a remote valve should have a handle attached to a spool valve to supply oil to the outlets and doesn't affect the three point as long as the remote valve is in neutral. There was also a selector valve which only had one outlet and a knob to change from the three point to the single outlet and you had to raise the touch control handle to get oil to flow.

You win the prize! Just so happens that after I wrote this request for info I went back out and double checked everything I had done and tried every combination of levers and valve positions I could see possible. When I pulled the knob out on the remote / diverter what ever you call it and then raised the lever that would normally raise the three point hitch all the way and that provided fluid to the control for the front end loader. Hoorah!!!!
Thanks for your response though because if I hadn't happened on to it by myself at least when I read your post I would have gotten it going. Jay
