Where is Solenoid

Starter solenoid? Start at postive battery post and follow cable to solenoid. With that out of he way, there's also other things like dirty connections that cause click,no start.

A click, click, clicking sound when starter button is depressed is a good indication the battery is dead. Take it to a good starter/alt shop and have it tested on their machine for specific gravity. Don't waste time trying to put a charger on it. If tractor/battery sets idle for 25 days or more, it will begin to deplete electrolyte in the cells and plates weaken. Best thing for any unit like that is to invest in a float charger (Battery Tender typical), not trickle charger. It'll keep battery up to full charge until it's ready when you are.

Battery is Good no Issues with it.
Backhoe just makes one Click when key is turned. Have owned this for 24yrs an never had a issue till now.

Try tapping the starter with a hammer while holding the key in the start position. My Ferguson sometimes does the exact same thing. Slight tap jars something in the starter and it's just fine afterwards...until I have to hit it again.

If this doesn't solve it, you'll have to troubleshoot....

because there's a loader on it... it will be hard to get to anything...

but the connection of the positive cable at the starter seloniod is usually the one the needs cleaning... howerver this is a copper stud and easy to strip out so dont over tighten it.

check and clean all battery connections on both ends... replace any suspect battery cables... and all will be good in most cases.

Possibilities
35 year old battery cables giving up?
Battery connections (both ends of both cables)?
Ground cable still connected to the stud at the front of the starter? Move it to a starter mounting bolt.
Starter or solenoid has failed?

Check the trigger wire on the solenoid. Sometimes it doesn't make contact. 24years is just about right for this to occur. I think it happened to me around 25 years.
