Ford 2910 Remote Hydraulic Leak

1) I have an 1984 2910 with remote hydraulics. Please see attached photos. It appears that I have a leak coming out around at least one bolt top center.

Would you please give me some advice on how best to stop the leaking.

2)The placement of this remote was there when I purchased the tractor several years ago. How hard would it be to move the remote to a different location on the tractor. Any advice and details would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Rick.

That's a Gannon 3 spool. Was made to use with power tilt, top link , and hydraulic scarifiers on Gannon box blades. It's made to work on the top ports. Ticco made a fender mount. Guess it could be mounted on the fender, but you'd have to figure out how to plumb it.

That remote valve is made to go exactly where it is. It has holes on the bottom that line up with holes in the tractor's hydraulic top cover that provide the pressurized flow to the remotes as well as the return path to the sump. If you want remote valves located somewhere else it would be easiest to sell that remote valve and buy a power beyond plate and an original style factory blocking plate and install them where that remote valve is currently. and then buy a generic valve that can be plumbed via hoses from the the power beyond plate.

The lever position does look like
a pain in the shin. The levers
could be flipped around, but then
they would hit your legs even
more.
Check out some other 30 years or
older tractors (any make) for
lever placement ideas. You can
probably have new levers
fabricated that are more
ergonomicaly placed and still
work ok.
Control cables like remote
joysticks have could also be
utilized to put controls where
you want.
