If like my 6610, the shuttle must be in neutral to crank.

Move the shuttle back and forth with key switch held to start.

Take a remote start switch and use it to crank the engine directly at the starter. This will bypass all of the tractor wiring, key switch, and neutral safety switch. You want to power the small male spade terminal with battery power. Make SURE the transmission is in neutral, and/or the fuel is off before you do this.

If the starter cranks every time when you do this, the battery & cables, starter & solenoid are obviously OK. If it were me, I would then install a simple 70-amp relay between the key switch and the starter, and your problems should go away.

If the starter does not crank when you bypass the starting circuit, then obviously you have an issue with the starter or cables. Another thing to try before you condemn the starter is to move the ground cable from the motor itself to a starter mounting bolt. Sometimes the motor terminal corrodes in the aluminum housing, causing slow or no cranking issues.

I'm a classic user and I did see the most recent post on page 1, but I had to switch to the modern view to see the original from a few years ago. Not that I needed to see it though, since it was with regards to a different machine.
