what kind of oil do you use on selectospeed trans ?

Hi Herve!

SOS transmissions use Ford 134D hydraulic oil, which is an old spec. I'm not sure what NH calls their current fluid, but I wouldn't pay their prices anyway. Anything good enough for a John Deere tractor (JD Hy-Gard for example) would be good enough for a SOS. Or, a "premium tractor hydraulic fluid" that meets Ford 134D specs or similar.

Yes, I am agree. but in my mind local dealer use ATF DEXRON! and I don't find anything about oil on SOS.

The tractor have an hydraulic steering and I put a standard hydraulic oil HV 46. Not a real good idea! he lost plenty of oil by the cap.I don't want to have similar trouble on trans ;-)
