Ford 1310 power beyond

I am interested in being able to run a wood splitter off my 1310. Is there a plate available to get power beyond or some other way of getting the hydraulic oil?

Do you have a loader on the tractor? There is a hydraulic block that is used to supply oil to the loader that could also be used to supply oil to a wood splitter.

I do not have a loader on the tractor. On the side where i would think a block would go under a cover, the bolts are too long and nuts have been put on them to seal the cover.
I have been unable to find one of the blocks you are mentioning.

There is a diverter block on the right side of the tractor with a metal tube from the pump attached to the front of the block. Another metal tube goes from the back of the diverter block to the hydraulic cover to supply oil to that. There are 2 pipe plugs in the diverter block that will need to be removed and install hoses to the back of the tractor with quick disconnects so the hoses can be connected together when the splitter is not attached. The front port will be the pressure port that will go to the in port on the splitter valve and the rear port will be the return from the out side of the splitter port. There is a shaft with a screw driver slot that will need to be turned for the oil to go through the hoses instead of straight through the diverter block. You must always shut the tractor off when disconnecting hoses and don't run the tractor with them disconnected. The link is showing the loader valve connection but you would be doing the same thing with a splitter valve.

1310 loader valve connection

(quoted from post at 14:21:38 11/25/20) That's not available Sean, there was also a single spool remote that mounted to the hydraulic cover but that is no longer available as well.

I mentioned that it probably was not still available, but I recommended that he try checking with salvage yards.

EBay has a loader block assembly but no valve. Shibara parts are getting hard to find. Those were a good tractor. Wore one out and traded for a 1530 Boomer. Still have it.

You're probable going to be disappointed with the cycle time on a decent capacity splitter powered by. 1310 hydraulic pump.

To add to rickb's comment, a pto driven pump would be workable and give you better flow. The pto pump is readily available locally in a typical farm store. The splitter would need its own oil tank, is all.

The admission that a cover is held on with too long bolts and nuts makes me think the tractor had the goods you want and the previous owner or a jockey knew how to pad the profits and removed the power beyond equipment for quick cash...

Good luck
