1958 841 Gas. Block Replacement

I need to replace the block in my 841 gasser as it has broken engine cradle mounting ears. Casting is 310609. Fella on ebay has a block has one with the same casting number, but the liner bore and piston both measure around 3.997". I thought the bore is supposed to be 3.90". Seems a little on the large side. I plan on replacing liners and pistons - does anyone see a problem with me getting this block as a replacement? I'm potentially worried about the block being bored and larger liners being installed....or I'm completely wrong in my thoughts. Wouldn't be the first time...

.010 over would put it at 3.91. This is another 87 thou...can't be wear, since the piston diameter is the same as the bore diameter.

Only thing I can think of is that either the block was bored and larger liners were installed, or the liners were bored really thin....

I can live with bored liners, but not a bored block since stock liners won't fit properly.
