3400 3 point corrections

1973 3400 gas.

So the three point corrects pretty often. I replaced the oring on the piston and the back up washer. Didnt change. If I shut it off it holds WAY longer than the time frame between corrects when running. Any tips on that?

My first guess would be a leak at the control valve.

Did you clean and reseal the control valve as well as making the proper linkage adjustments while you had the lift top off

I dont think so. Its been about 6 months from when I did it. I have the i and t book and it was a bit confusing on the procedure.
