Dearborn live PTO for Jubilee

How hard would it be to remove this Dearborn Live PTO kit from my Jubilee that I just got? The previous owner
said there are some parts missing and right now the hydraulic does not work. The PTO does operate as normal. The
kit I believe is a Model 23-12.

Looks like the 23-12 hydraulic pump is missing. Go to the other Ford site and under Manuals you can read all about it.

According to pictures you presented, the piggy back hydraulic pump that operates the PTO clutch is missing, along with the hydraulic lines that go back to the clutch. It should be attached to the tack drive end of the main hydraulic pump. To take it out you will need to remove the hydraulic lift chest and split it between the center housing and the transmission. In case you go that far, you will need a drive shaft between the pinion shaft and the transmission. I happen to have one. If you do nothing, it should operate normally.

Thanks Again for your help Wayne. So can I pull the top cover or drop the pump as normal or would the add-on be a hinderance?

If you are not needing the LPTO for any thing, I would leave it as is. If the long handle on the left side is interfering, that shifter plate could be taken off. It should be attached on the inside which would require a lift chest removal. But who knows what is inside beings a lot of other parts are missing on the outside!

The tractor hydraulics is separate from the LPTO hydraulics. Two separate issue. Sooooo, the three point does not work, Right? Loosen the 3/8 plug on the pump to see weather the pump will pump oil, or maybe it needs bleeding!

Here is what it should look like when you a
take the top cover off. I heard they made one for the 8n that did not use external hydraulics but since you have a line that is plug you must have the Jub model. As Wayne said missing the piece at the end of pump/proofmeter drive. I would bleed the pump and check the O rings before pulling the cover

Kirk-I believe the picture you posted is the mechanical one for a 8N. At least is doesn't look like the NAA's I have been around

Yea I realized that I posted the wrong photo of the 8n one. I'll have to look to see if I still have the other photos. Sorry for the confusion.
