But not the one I'd been looking at earlier. This is a '67 model going by the serial numbers, gas burner, power steering. Starts and runs great. Needs front tires PDQ. Cowl and fenders in pretty good shape, doesn't look to have been painted, has a brand new seat. I got it for $2800 and got a new set of brake shoes with it. Hope I did ok. Anxious to start doing some fixing up on it and get to working it on my little place. I'm going to have some questions when I get to working on it so you'll be hearing from me.

Around here that tractor would easily sell for $3000.00 to $3500.00, so I think you got a good deal. If it already runs good I would just change all of the fluids and grease all of the zerks and put it to work.

You'll like the "power assisted" (service manual verbiage) steering. My 3000 didn't have it so I added after market which works pretty good once you get
it set up correctly. My 3910 came with PS and it is really nice. One thing I like about the PA steering is that it is just that. The steering wheel position vs
wheel position is fixed by gears. On todays Hydrostatic Steering, there is no mechanical connection (of which I am aware) and when you put a knob on
the wheel at your sweet spot position, on the Ford it stays where you put it but on hydros, it could be anywhere and changes repeatedly as you work the
tractor.......a PIA for me.

I now have to find me a 5 or 6' bushog and a box blade. I think the first fix up will have to be new front tires, maybe after that getting the lights, gauges, and tach working again.
