A friend has a 3600 ag tractor that has a broken plastic fuel line. This line goes from the fuel filter housing to a fitting on the cover plate for, I think its called, the timing port. The cover plate that I am talking about has a lead sealed safety wire on it. I was wondering what this fuel line does, as there is another line, a metal line, from the filter to the back end of the pump. I assume that the metal line is the supply line. There is also a smaller line coming from the top cover of the pump that I think is the return line.
Also the fitting in the cover plate was loose and pressed, not threaded into the cover plate. The plastic line pushed onto a barbed banjo fitting, with no clamp. Will try to post pictures.
Thanks
Garry
