Well, I'm finished messin' with it, until next summer. then I can finish up taking the dents out of the nose-cone, and finish painting where I left off on the loader frame, and tin. Also will install the new wiring harnes at that time.
Looking close to finishing.
Act's like it should and really starts and runs great. Kinda think it was a little spendy, but, worth it!!??
Learning something new every day.
Not even close to finish work, but I'm havin' fun!!!!

"If you get bored I will let you shine mine up..."

Are you sure about that??? This 3000 has more things on it, than I am used to. Took me almost a yr. to figger out what does what!! And that doesn't count trying to fix something that was not working, when I got it.
Trial and error, and reading a whole bunch of book learning.
I'm getting there tho!!

Hope yer staying busy in the shop!!! $$$$

I would like to ring and paint mine other than that its good to go, I picked up a nice set of fenders from UltraDawg I have yet to put them on : (...

My neighbor has a 3000 with all the common issues he just started working on it this week so I will supervise and give a helping hand... Clutch and PS leaking out the column...

Business could be better if the owner were not such a ornery old coot : )

looks great... my first loader tractor was a 3000 w 730 loader out of a charcoal plant and it was plumb wore out. $5000 later and I had a perfect tractor that cleared land, planted, put shingles on the roof, built 3 barns, and much much more. After bout 20 years, sold it for $7500 and moved to bigger tractor to move from square bales to round bales. Add ballast to the rear tires with some wheel weights and some wide front tires, and you will have a great tractor. I could scoop cardboard/ rocks/logs off the ground and never break the grass. Good feedback and feel on the 3000 that the bigger tractors dont give you.

Good job!
