Ford 5000 PTO stops when warm

A friend of mine recently bought a Ford 5000 that runs well.
Everything worked fine until they changed the fluids.
The hired hand bought the wrong oil and put in it. Too low of viscosity.
Since then, the PTO will work when cold but stops once it's warm.
It will not spin a rotary mower or baler.
They have since changed the oil with the right type, but the symptom remains.
The dealership said it was the pump and they put a new one on it.
Pressure went from ~130 to ~150PSI. Still the same symptoms.
Any ideas what they should check next?

My guess would be a worn clutch support at the rear of the clutch pack. Unless that tractor has Load Monitor, that PTO clutch pack could be
on the bench in 30 minutes for a full inspection.

If the tractor has Dual Power, see if there's any difference in PTO action between low and high range.

Thanks Bern, I've never been in one of the 5000's so I don't know.
I'll pass it along!
