Hello help needed. Shifting, lower cable binding. Can not pull on lower cable to shift with transmission cover removed. What has been your experience? I read a Ford advertisement when the SOS was introduced how all you needed was a couple fingers to shift. This old tractor has never been easy to shift years ago, now it is impossible with selector or not. I need info that the ford manual covers, This IT FO 20 is lacking details. I see no obvious problem with cams or cable wheel trunnion, I can shift through the 14 positions with 5/8 inch wrench. The control valve is tight and doesnt look out of place. Im at the point of modifying cover to use wrench to shift. Tractor only used few times year with finishing mower. Anyone out there with the problem or a solution? Thanks Rebob#1
