lift cylinder

my 52 8n lift cylinder has been needing replaced for a while so i bought a new cyl. piston and gasket set, i put the O ring around the piston to see how hard it was going to be to put in the cylinder, it slid right in and straight to the bottom of cylinder, i dont think it should have been that easy, ( am i right ). i had to take an air gun to blow my old one out of my old cylinder.

I agree.. try the new oring on the old piston... it should be tight either way. maybe someone has hone out the cyl too many times.

O-ring to skinny, need to find correct thickness, thanks for your input
