Hello,
New member here. I recently purchased this 71 Ford 4400 gas tractor. I got it for $500 because the 3 point was inoperable. I did what I consider my due diligence and searched the forums far and wide. I've come to the realization that this is most likely from a dirty filter and/or screen. I pulled the top cover and lift arms because, "it's a tractor, how hard can this be?"... I realized pretty quickly that the tractor had to be separated to get this done. I split it apart and managed to get the screen and hydrailic pump out with almost no effort. The filter has me at a loss. Where do I go from here? There is just no way to get the darn thing out, which I suppose is why it was never changed. Does anyone have a super secret trick to get this out and replaced?
