Tractor has been converted to 12V, have a new 12V gauge.
The aftermarket sending units are for the smaller, aftermarket tanks.
Can I use the original sending unit or at 2x the voltage will it read
2x the fuel that's actually in the tank?

my experience with original 6v gas gauges/senders and 12v is that the gauge pegs at full. I"m wondering about the diesels tho. They were 12v, what part of the fuel gauge system was different about them?

easure & compare the resistance with float full up & full down. If both units are same, then use either.
