1841 finally coming together

Got a chance this weekend to at least get some paint on it.
New engine and front end installed. Ran it for a few months, then
tore it back down for cleanup and paint. Hopefully it will be done soon.

Interesting pictures! Looks like my shop!! Noticed the serial and models numbers seam to be raised in the cast. All ag tractors were imbedded, were they not? Is that unique to the 1800s?

They are actually hand stamped in Wayne, just like the ag tractors.
Just an optical illusion from the shine on the new paint.

Thanks Gary, I like the tractor.
I'm working on four at the moment, trying to divide my time.
I've nicknamed this one "struggle bus".
Not one single thing has gone right or easy.
From buying the right parts, to getting the power steering fixed,
even a starter bolt broke off in the tranny. One thing after another.

SHEESH!!!....I'd never get anything done THAT way. One thing at a time for my ways.....I'd forget what I was doing, and when!!! :?

Still trying to get the dents out of the nose-cone, on the 3000. Think I'm gonna give up on that.
I got halfway done with the shed extention at the front of the workshop door, and pulled my back out of whack AGAIN!!!
Can't hardly walk straight up right now......SOOOooooo, everything is at all stop here, except for tending to Les's needs.

Interesting allusion. When I first look at them they are definitely stamped. As I continue to look, they become raised and stay that way no matter how hard I try to make them stamped again.

At least it's back to running and driving again. With some spare tires.
Now I just need to get the rest of the parts back from the sand blaster
and cleanup/paint the loader, fenders, etc. and get them back on.
