If I were to buy that, the cab would be the first thing I would get rid of. Factory cab so much better.

I don't see what's so special about that cab myself. It doesn't look at have a/c so you'll just melt running it in the summertime

I'm betting that the tractor was only ever used for snow plowing with that cab and plow bracket on the front.

Probably municipally owned Perhaps an airport.

I found the ad interesting only because the owner went well out of his way to make it perfectly clear that the cab was not available seperately.

I have the same problem... I always try to hang a shredder(rotary cutter) on the back of the tractors as they sale faster. And even though I say the shredder is not for sale separately, I get several quires each week... "Hey, is the shredder for sale?" I buy shredders only to help sale tractors. As they only bring in a very small profit if sold separately, so its not a market I,m interested in spending time on. By the time they are painted and shafts repaired, missing blades put back on/sharpened... I probably have lost on my labor. Then the city slickers come out an complain its got a scratch or dent on it. Used shredders dont come perfect. But..you have to put lipstick on a pig sometimes for the city folks... as a pretty tractor sales quickly even though it may be mostly worn out, where an ugly tractor sets for months even if its lightly used, in great shape. So everything has to get a spray can overhaul...
