Fuel filter

Ford 950. Never seen a paper filter in
sediment bowl. Where would I find a new
one? Of course never had a Ford 900 with
a zenith carb either.

What model Zenith carb? The 960 I bought had a Zenith carb and was running poorly but the carb seemed to belong to a 600 series or similar tractor. Smaller throat and bolt spacing but someone had made the carb work. I replaced with a MS carb I had and replaced a couple spark plugs. The tractor runs great now. Tag on the Zenith carb has "10 15" on one line "13877" on the next line, and "B6NN A" on the last line. Not sure if any of that helps identify the carb.

Nor have I, and Ford did not put it in there.

Moreover, the sediment bulb/filter in the photo is not OEM for a 8/9 series tractor.

Install the proper screen and move on.

Husker will check what carb tomorrow. Tractor runs great. Pulled a square baler with it a few weeks ago. Just purred right along!
