Any Idea What This Is?

My 59 841 with a factory loader came with some extra parts in boxes. This is one of them. Any clue what it is? Can find anywhere it would go. Cracked anyhow....

Shaun ID'g your part but parts are most likely not available anymore. FEL's were made by several suppliers so part would depend on which one you have. I know of a guy in New York who repops cast iron parts for vintage tractors and equipment. He made me some for my early '39 Ford 9N and they were exact as originals. I sent him an email to ask if he is still in business so if you want, I can pass it on to him when he replies. It is also noteworthy to mention that no FEL was ever a factory item. It and all implements were always dealer supplied accessories. The Rouge, Highland Park, and later Romeo tractor plants only built straight tractors. Different companies/suppliers/vendors built the implements. You could only buy a new tractor and/or equipment from your local Ford Tractor Dealer. If you wanted a plow, cultivator, or FEL, you ordered it and they would install the unit for you if you wanted.

Shaun is the winner. Obvious to me now! If I had any brains I would have checked my loader. Looks like it was replaced some time ago. Can't imagine why the P.O. kept it.

And Tim, I meant factory loader to imply that it was in fact a Ford loader designed for for the tractor, not some cobbled up thing attached. But thanks for sharing the history for those of us kinda new to these tractors. I enjoy reading how all this stuff was made when people cared about building a quality product.
