I am newbie to tractor.

I have my grandfathers Workmaster.
Hydrauilic lift wouldn't work, (dad said worked year before)
Had water in hydraulic from setting up condensation.

I drained, and put diesel to dry out, dumped and put fresh Hydraulic fluid.

Still doesn't lift. I moved the allen nut off pump and its shooting fluid everywhere.

Where is my next place to look for any simple fixes?

If it gets to complicated I will have to find a local, or ditch the restore project. I HAVE THE complete service manual, but reads like greek to me.

I am at a lost of where to began to check to get it going. ( the tractor starts and runs great even after sitting a year.

does the three point react any at all or does it just stay down ? have moved the draft control to a different position and try again?

doesn't move at all. stays down.

draft doesn't seem to do anything.

the lever for lift doesn't seem to be very hard to move,

"Most likely' is not 'always' the case, but ...most likely the unloader valve is stuck. It only moves by a fairly low hydraulic pressure set by the backpressure valve (~40psi). Requires top lift cover removal and some dis-assembly to access.

Do you have a picture of what it should look like to give me starter point to look in book for

nloader being removed from hyd cylinder/valve body (this is NAA, but yours will look about the same). Before valve can be removed, the second picture shows an improvised plug remover (bolt, flat iron strap and stacks of washers). Plug covers unloader valve.
