Ford 6610 Hydraulics - Bern??

Here are videos of the low side hydraulic pressures. First video is with the dual power disconnected at the pump and plugged, the
second is with it hooked back up. This is with the tractor cold, but you can see there is a noticeable drop in low and high idle
pressures. This is the one I posted about almost 3 weeks ago now with the air test videos. Does it look like the pressure
regulating portion is all working ok and my problem is in the dual power?

Low Pressure Test DP Disconnected

It looks to me like you have a sizable leak in both ranges of your DP, with high range being worse than low. If I'm seeing the numbers correctly, it looks like you dropped about 25 PSI just by hooking up the DP in low range, and then it dropped another 25 PSI just by shifting it into high range. In addition, I don't like the low pressures at idle, even with the DP disconnected. I don't have the specs in front of me, but I'm thinking you should have 180 PSI plus at idle or maybe 1000 RPM. 100 is way too low.

Making matters worse is the fact that you were doing this with cold oil. What do the numbers look like with hot oil? They can't be good.

In summary, it looks to me like you have multiple problems in multiple areas, as much as I hate to say it. I don't think your problem is only in the DP.

Would you say there may be hope for the dual power if I find the underlying leak? Or is 25psi a pretty good drop? I noticed when I did the PTO-only air test, there was quite a bit of air coming from somewhere around the PTO control valve area (I've attached the video again below). The clipped line was still in place, and I don't recall it leaking around the o-ring area. It seemed that most of the air was coming from the rear side of the valve. Would that be more indicative of a sticking relief spool? Also, on the PTO, would bad sealing rings manifest itself as a leak all the time or just when the PTO is engaged? It looks like the only time oil is pressurized to the PTO pack is when you have the PTO engaged?

25 PSI drop is quite a bit, especially with cold oil. You definitely have a problem in the DP near as I can tell.

On the PTO, if the rear housing seal rings were leaking, it would only drop the pressure when the PTO was engaged.

I think if I was working on this tractor, I would run it with the top cover off to visually look for major leaks. Either your pump is worn out or you have a big leak somewhere.
