Found this in a TW30

So I am trying to fix the Dual Power in a TW30. I split it to check out the low pressure pump and the PTO clutch. I was looking for anything in the bottom of the rear housing. Right under the opening of the suction tube for the main hydraulic pump I found a 2 inch piece of cast iron. I can't find where it came from. Let me know if you have a clue?

It's from part #17 in the attached picture. If you zoom in, the part that broke off appears to be touching line #19 in the image. It supports brake disc #2. Very common failure. I bet I've fished out a dozen of those over the years.

Did you ever figure out the low pressure issue?

No I haven't found any bad seals or gaskets. Before I split it I disconnected the PTO and the brake valve. Just hooked my gauge to the port were pressure would have gone to the PTO valve. Still low, ran about 125 PSI. I need help! Maybe you could send me an email. Oh and thank you for the info about the broken piece. The owner does not use the PTO anyway. Does need a cover for safety reasons.

I have replaced the original pump with E3NN7A103AB. Is that the big or small one? $566. Pump bolts were tight and new. I made a tool to align the suction tube. But when I split it this time I did some more measuring and it may not travel into the port far enough. Someone had it bent back. I have moved it forward and realigned it.

If the tube was indeed too far back, then you found your low pressure issue. The pump was most likely sucking a lot of air.

As for the pump itself, the part number looks correct. They only produce and sell the updated pump. Also, they didn't make a big one and small one. They all had the same flow. The difference was the size of the bearing used inside of it.
