Ok this may be a dumb question but I really don’t understand
diagnosing hydraulics. On my 7700 everything seems to work
fine until a little bit of use and everything warms up. It won’t lift
or fold the wings on my batwing mower and lift my 7’ 3pt
mower unless the tractor is reved over about 1300 rpms. After
about 15 minutes of pto work it has to be above 1300 rpms to
lift everything I’ve tried so far. I haven’t tried a grader box or
something non pto. I moved probably 25 4x5 round bales with
it last year and it seemed fine but was above idle the entire
time. The pump also whines when this is happening. A new
pump seems relatively cheap and would give me a good
reason to drain god knows what kind of fluid the previous
owner used and put in good fluid. Should I replace the pump
or is there something else I should be looking at. I know from
the 7000 row crop I have these pumps aren’t real great to
begin with in terms of modern day hydraulics.
