1972 Ford 4000 Break Pedal Shaft

The seals on the break pedal shaft that goes through the differential on my 1972 Ford 4000 are leaking, the bushings must need replacing as well as the seals.
Does the differential need to be take apart to change the bushing and seals?

No. Drain oil, pull steps. Make shure left tire/wheel out far enuff to get shaft out. Shaft wears too. The last set seals I put were plenty tite on shaft so may just to replace seals.

It is not a hard job.
There are some spacer washers on that
shaft. They are different thicknesses and
it's easy to forget which ones go where..
If you take some notes or a couple of
photos where they belong it will help
with reassembly.

Bushings are likely just fine.
