Ford 640 Craigslist

I'm about to finish restoring my 8n and I'm looking for a new project. I saw this on craigslist today:

https://houston.craigslist.org/grd/d/la-grange-ford-tractor-1950s/7171503974.html

A few questions for the forum:

- Is this a 640/641?
- What do you think about the price?

I would like to work on a 800 series but I haven't been able to find one. This might be the next best thing...

Thanks.

i could be wrong but those rear tire treads pattern i don't think can be that old. just have to run it and see . could be a good deal.

Judging from the fenders it might be an NAA/Jubilee. They used the same as an N did.
NAA had the same big nut on the axles as an 8N. Photos too blurry to tell.
Though they'll do the same work, I would rather have a 600/601 than an NAA.
Better rear axle, better hydraulics, better parts availability.

Agree with Kirk and UD. It's an NAA.

6** tractors are significantly iimproved, especially the live PTO versions.

8** tractors are much more powerful, a bit heavier and cost little more.

IF.... it checks out... its priced right, would be a great tractor. Yes, its a 4 speed and trans pto, but so are many others. Rubber looks good in the pics, ad a bit of slime to each tire and farm on.
