Help me figure out which model I have!

Hi folks. New user here. Figured Id reach out to the pros for information here. I bought what I thought was a Ford 3910 at auction a few months ago. I found the serial number and tried to match it with the known serial numbers listed on tractordata.com for 3910 and 2810. No match. So I have absolutely no idea what tractor I have. It looks just like a 3910 and a 2810 (the two have no obvious differences). The serial number on the tractor C759859.

Please help guys.

regretfully, the serial number will only narrow down the year, in your case the tractor was built in
the first half of 1986, which definitely is a XX10 series tractor, you're gonna need the three sets of
stamped numbers off the flat pad behind the starter, and it wouldn't hurt to have the numbers off the tag under the hood if still there, with this you can pretty much find out everything about the tractor

Depending on where you found the serial number (stamped into the flat spot or on the foil sticker under the hood) there should have been either 2 or 6 other numbers along with the serial number. Post those other numbers and we can hopefully tell you what model it is. I'll give you a hint. A 3910 model number will start with CA4, and a 2810 model number will start with BS4. A couple of other models that will look pretty much identical to those 2 and were also made during the same time period are the 2910 (model number starts with BA4) and 4110 (model number starts with KA3).

I knew it was a good idea to post here. I'll get the three numbers stamped behind the starter and the numbers off the tag on the underside of the hood and post them. As far as I remember, they're all legible enough to make out.

And that's assuming that someone wasn't "breeding" Ford tractors and making one tractor that was at least semi-functional from several that weren't

Okay, folks. I've got the three numbers from behind the starter, which correspond to two of the numbers on the foil sticker
under the hood.

Model BS414C
Unit 6D16B
Tractor # *C759859*
Transmission 6B11B
Hyd Pump 6C14B
Engine 6C14X(last digit illegible)
Rear Axle 6C1(either 9 or 0)B
Hyd Lift 6C23A

I know the model number starts with the same digits as a 2810, but the tractor number does not correspond to any of the tractor
numbers listed for a 2810.

I really appreciate you guys.

Thank you, good sir. So the only thing I have to worry about messing up is the hydraulic lift.
