1955 600 looses power under a load

Good Morning all, I have a 1955 600 that I have been working on for a while. I have replaced the rotor button and dust cap, the condenser, the distributer cap, plug wires and
plugs, coil, and resistor. I have also replace the carb, sediment bowl, fuel line, and the fuel tank valve (twice). I cleaned the tank and got all the rust out of it. So, here is
where it gets good. Oh yea, I advanced the timing a bit. While sitting in the shop, it starts and idles perfect I can bring it to full throttle and it doesn"t miss a beat. When I
take it out of the shop and put it under a load, (running a small Woods bush hog) it will run fine for maybe 15 to 20 minutes then it spits and sputters, starts lunging and jumping
a dies. I let it cool a bit and fire it right back up. Then it only runs for a few minutes before it starts the same thing over. It takes a while to get it back to the shop. Any
Ideas. All help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Butch

When it starts to die, put a jumper across the ignition switch/terminal block. If it clears up replace switch

Check points and points gap

Brand new points and just checked the gap. The only time it shuts out and dies is when I am moving the tractor. Doesn't do it when just sitting still.

That's what I thought too, It has plenty of gas. It is driving me crazy. It all started with the throttle not staying at full throttle. That was when I decided to pull it into the
shop a work on it. I did some research a found that if the Throttle Bellcrank Friction Disc Spring Washer was not tightened down it would not stay at full throttle. I tightened it
and it now stays at full throttle, but acts like it is running out of gas. I appreciate all the help I am getting from all Ya'll
Thank you.

i could be wrong but is sounds like the carb is filling up but under load the bowl gets staved for gas. then when it sits it fills back up and repeat. habe you taken the plug from the bottom of the carb to see how much flow is getting past the needle valve???

OK, Here we go again. I got the tractor running smooth, readjusted the carb, advanced the timing. Purrs like a kitten. And then put it under a load, just driving down the road and it want to die. I have the hood off of it now since I am working on it. If is starts to die, I can put my hand over the air intake over the oil bath filter and it will continue to run. Is it possibel that it is sucking to much air? Also, I pulled the plug on the bottom of the carb. When it is running nothing comes out. Shut the tractor off and gas pours out. I still can't get more than 10 minutes of run time out of it without it shutting down. Still looking for help. It starts fine, don't even have to use the choke. runs smooth unless under a load.

Shortstop, you are being given the correct answer! Why ask a question and then ignore the answer?????

Ok, I am confused with your comment. I have tried everything that has been mentioned. So what am I missing here. Not sure why you answered the way you did. Please fill me in. I
just want my tractor running. I thought I could get help, by the way, this is the only time you spoke up about my question. All the others were very helpful, Please explain. Not
looking for any negative comments. By the way, my thanks for all of those who are helping with my tractor.
