Working on an NAA, has not run in 20 years or so. Got it running, drained all fluids and replaced, with new fluids, didi not use 90 weight in the hydraulic system, used an equivalent hydraulic oil. The 3 point lift chatters and does not raise smoothly, this is with no weight on the 3pt. Is this normal? or is the hydraulic pump weak, or is there some other issue with the hydraulic system

Rear fluid is both hydraulic and gear lube. 90 wt is too heavy & not correct.

Get a manual and use the correct fluid. That'll probably help.

NAA has 3 places for fluid. Transmission Hyds and rear end
