dose anyone know if a steel craft cab from 8 n fit on a 960 ford tractor

won't fit. 8n tin is wider at hood and 960 is wider at back. You might be able to adapt it but not a bolt and go.

thanks i just got it home and just like u said may try to fab parts 2 make it fit

Do you have the special running boards required as well? I have the OEM SteelCraft literature and installation instructions if you need.
