Ford 2000 power steering questions

Hello, I usually lurk on the Ford 8N page but I am borrowing my brother in laws Ford 2000 early to mid 70s tractor. When driving down the road there is a bad shimmy on the steering - I think it is because the power steering is not working, or no fluid. I looked on line and all I saw was Ford 2000s with the power steering pump which is cylindrical in shape and a clear filling cap. This one is square shaped and seems to have no clear place to fill. I would like some advice as to how to test, fill, or check if this system is working please. I attach some photos which I hope will help identify.

Wow thank you very much - I would never have found that...its bone dry - does it take the same hydraulic oil as main system at rear of tractor?

Yes, same oil as hydraulic
system...UNLESS its leaking past the
shaft seal in the pump, and draining into
the engine sump. Then, use engine oil
until the shaft seal is replaced.
It's a 1967 model.

Thank you so much for the information I dont think its leaking from there - I think I found where its coming from but not sure how to fix this - its on the end of the piston - see pictures please - and from behind that nut which seems to do nothing other than spin around - the other piston does not have one - adjustment of some kind - its not coming from the lines and fittings are tight its right behind that nut.

Yeah.....Im already loving it - also that it has live PTO high and low and the brakes actually work....I was so jealous of my Brother in law as he got it for a really good price....oh well.
