Jubilee fuel starves after about one minute

I fire her up and she runs for about a minute or two then sputters and finally dies. If I wait for another 30-45 minutes and try to start her again she fires right up for another minute or two. Just purchased it, fellow ran it for several hours to make sure it was OK before loading and delivery. I even drove it a bit when I first went to look at it. I drained the fuel tank by taking the line off at the carb., drained fine, decently good flow. This machine had set for a couple of years (indoors) before I purchased it. I wonder if the transport could have knock rust off and it is now in the carb.???

emove drain plug from bottom of carb & see if flow will fill a pint container in 2 minutes or less. Flow will slow after the first few seconds (normal). If do not pass this test, remove the el at fuel inlet to carb and check attached screen. Also check screen in top of sediment bowl.

I had the same problem, tried all the suggestions, even a carb rebuild kit, then solved the problem by purchasing a new carb. It did?t break the bank. But
it did solve the problem.
