Trying to replace 3pt piston seals.

Working on my 3400 here. Ill tell you what, the IT manual is good and all but really vague in some cases.

First off it tells you to remove the bolts for the lift cover but doesn't have a diagram. This leads me to removing the lift piston housing bolts too and fishing that thing back up to the cover to put a bolt back in to hold. No big deal though.

Next it says to replace piston use air pressure in the lift cylinder pressure port to remove piston. Again, straight forwards except there is no diagram showing which port that is! I've attached a picture if you guys could tell me what port to pressurize that would be great!

Side note, my cam follower pin has hardly any wear on it. Either someone has been in here before or this was used for basically strictly loader use.
Also, flipping that lift cover over by yourself is quite the bear! When it comes time for install I will be getting some help to mount it back on the cherry picker.

Next question. My piston has a slash cut backup ring. Should I reuse that or should I install the leather one?

ersonal preference I think.

Got it all done. Problem is that it still corrects a lot with a heavy load. Like 1k lbs correcting every 10-15 seconds. Should I of removed the valve and inspected when I had it out?
