Ford 600 clutch problems

I just replaced the clutch, pressure plate,throw out bearing on my Ford 600 and I don't have any adjustments. What did I do wrong. It like the throw out bearing is not engaging the pressure plate..need help please
 

It's important to know which 600 series you have in order to begin to answer this question and even then it's not likely we can be sure without seeing it.

Do you have a 640 (4 speed transmission)?
Do you have a 650 (5 speed transmission, transmission PTO)?
Do you have a 660 (5 speed transmission, live PTO)?
Or maybe it's one of the more stripped down models?

Furthermore, "I don't have any adjustments" is pretty generic statement. Can you elaborate?

It is a 4 speed and no matter which way I adjust the nut I have no clutch pedal, it stays in gear. This is the adjustment screw I'm talking about.

You must have not gotten everything together correctly when you put it back together then. Hard to tell what without a split again I imagine. I certainly haven't a clue from this distance.

I'm going to split again tomorrow can't be that hard to figure out what I'm doing wrong
 
They're were a lot of bad clutches in a whole lot of sellers systems. They had the three fingers in them for a car. They are longer fingers by about 1/4". Just enough to hit on the snout that the throwout bearing slides on. Once they hit they won't depress any more and no clutch adjustment will fix that. It will sometimes gouge the snout or leave a line on it. Measure your old clutch finger length and new pressure plate fingers. Ford trucks and tractors back then were heavier duty and used the shorter fingers and slightly bigger throwout bearing. I'd match that up to but that's probably the correct part. This clutch finger problem comes up about every 10-15 years. It's the only difference between car and truck/tractor pressure plate.
 
Well I've gotten the tractor split again and have a few pictures, I done this before a long time ago and I know it's something small. I've checked the new parts and they match the old parts so I don't think it's a parts mistake. The pictures show the new parts installed, any help will be greatly appreciated.

dunno about your clutch issue, altho the clutch fingers look depressed (too close to the clutch disk) to me. (wrong disk maybe?)

I'd suggest you take a hard look at your ring gear - looks like it's deteriorated across an arc that's near the starter hole in the picture. Ring gears are not that expensive and it might save you another split in the future.
 
How would I no how far out the pressure plate fingers should be. Is there a process to adjust the fingers
 

That's a new pressure plate, or a reman. The fingers should have been adjusted correctly from the get go. I'd get with whomever you bought it from and see if they won't make it right.
