I bought the 12 volt conversion kit and the wiring diagram that came with it shows an n series. I figured most of them out but need a diagram to finish the last few wires.

Tom, I am trying to follow the 1 wire Alternator diagram for my conversion. What is that box located just below the IGN. My IGN has three wires. I also only have 3 post SOL. I cannot tell where the alternator wire is connecting. Is it going to the pos AMPS or POS IGN.

erminal block with two isolated terminals on it. ign sw, 3 wires or3 terminals? are you trying to use ign sw as start sw or sticking with the neutral safety start switch? what was start sw in use before re-wire?

as JMOR stated the box shown is a junction point for connection of several wires together. Takes the place of a wire nut.
The bottom diagram shows a "green" wire for the solenoids with the extra terminal. Note that the solenoid is energized by completing the circuit "to ground" by the pushbutton. This isn't doable thru the ignition switch. The switch just energizes the ignition circuit.
Hope this helps.
Keep in mind these old tractors have been modified by owners for decades.
