Hi all:
Went to the drive shed today to get the Ford 4000 SU, and I discovered it had a flat tire. Tried filling it so I could look for the leak, but when I took the air chuck off to check the pressure, brine started jetting out from the valve stem. It looks like the valve core disappeared when I took the chuck off. Can't fill any more air now obviously.
I put the dust cap back on and it's holding water, so to speak. I put a jack under the frame to keep the weight off the tire.
Is there anything weird or unusual about replacing the valve core on this machine? Is it as simple as replacing an automotive valve core?
