My Ford Weedeater!

Last Friday I cut around my pond that's about an acre. Thanks to JWA it's not hard at all and fun as a matter of fact. This is a lot better than using a hand held one for sure!

Thanks! I've got a Jubilee I'm redoing a 67 3000 diesel and a MF 230 diesel that I've got the engine rebuilt just haven't got it back together yet. I've got old tractor fever. I keep the sickle mower hooked up to this one and that's her only job now.

I'm seeing more tractors at shows with restored sicklebars. Tractors with implements are always more interesting.

Yes sir it does. That tractor was my dads. He let his friend borrow it and he tore up the transmission trying to snatch up stumps. Well when they went to fix it they found a 640 with a busted block that they bought cheap. So they put the trans and rear end off of it on the front of dads Jubilee. So I have to remember which end I'm buying parts for! Those rims could have come off either one I don't remember now but knowing my dad it was what ever one had the best tires on it! When he gave it to me I fixed everything that was wrong with it and painted it with rattle cans. I had those decals from a pile of stuff I bought from a old man that used to restore Fords and I just stuck them on there. I got that sickle mower from JWA on here and you can still read the signs on it showing where to hook for the different models.

You are fortunate to have flat enough terrain around your pond to make that work.. For me, I would need the bar to be able to droop down as much as 30-40 degrees around parts of my ponds & in almost all of perimeters, down some angle.
I know that there are some gear head sickle bars that can droop down some, but I don't have one and my pitman arm type won't droop.
