Help! Ford 3000 Construction tractor?

I am looking at, what I think is a Ford 3000. The seller said it was originally yellow and a construction series. The serial number does not match anything I know of and local shops dont know. Please help. I attached the numbers I found! On a side note, he said literally overnight the clutch started going bad. It now engages way up on the foot lever and before it was engaging way down. The adjustment on the lever is adjusted as far as I can. Pressure plate stuck overnight?[/b]
On the side plate it says : Model: C1213C
5BI9
*B949295*

Model: C1213C

The C12 at the beginning does not make any sense. A 3000 series industrial model would be either a 3500 or a 3550 whose model numbers would start with C50, C55 or K50. The 3400 Utility model, which some folks call an industrial model, would start with C40. There is no model number that starts with C12 in any of my references. Make a few replies so you get above 10 posts and then post some pictures of the tractor.

The 13C at the end would mean that it has a diesel engine, live PTO and an 8 speed transmission.

5BI9 - February 19 of 1965 or 1975.

*B949295* - This is a fairly high domestic Basildon serial number, so I am betting that the Unit Number above is February 19 1975.

C = 3000
12 = Highway model.
1 = Diesel.
3 = Live 540 PTO.
C = 8 speed transmission.

I would agree February 1975 Basildon tractor. She is a bit far from home
though those Highway models were a bit fast. :0)

(quoted from post at 13:03:58 05/02/20) I can tell it was originally yellow? Were highway models yellow?

Highway models were painted whatever color the highway department or whoever the fleet purchaser was wanted them painted, but they were usually yellow or blue. My references don't mention a highway model in the 3000 series, only in the 4000 series, but the parts site lists the 3120 highway tractor, so I'll have to add it to my references.

Maybe my references didn't have the 3120 highway tractor because it may have been a UK only model. And there was a 2000 series 2120 highway model in the UK as well. The only differences I can find in the parts site between the regular 2000 & 3000 ag tractors and the highway models is that the highway models had rear view mirrors mounted on the rear fenders, and they also had fenders for the front wheels, and those parts are listed for the UK 2120 and 3120 only:

(14C02) - REAR VIEW MIRROR, U.K. - 2120, 3120
(14D01) - FRONT FENDERS, U.K. - 2120, 3120

So does your have rear view mirrors and front fenders?

These are Highway 4000 pictures just to highlight some of the differences.
Highway tractors usually had to have a dual braking system operated
independently so the 4000 has normal inboard brakes plus drum and shoe
brakes on the end of the axle. The 3000 had wider drums and two sets of
brake shoes, one hydraulic operated, one mechanically operated.

Did a bit of searching and apparently the 2120/3120 highway models are much like the standard 2/3000 ag tractor with the exception of the fenders, mirrors and taillights.
Aside from the front fenders and mirrors the rear fenders have a different part number that's not used with another model I can find, they also had large rear tail lights that appear to have been used on later tractors, hence the updated E8NN13N408AA part number.
