Timing inj pump on 6700?

I had local mechanic remove the inj pump on my 6700 to have IP repaired because it was leaking fuel externally plus around IP driveshaft into engine crankcase. Mechanic that removed IP took ill so I asked my truck mechanic to install repaired IP with my supervision. We got IP installed & air bleed out of system & engine running but I'm not sure we have IP timed correctly. My tractor has had a crate engine installed with a Lucas model 8523A800Y emissions IP. Engine starts fine but I think it sounds a little different BUT that could be my imagination. Also there's a plastic fuel return line that's leaking & my mechanic thinks a feral is missing. This fuel system has a hand pump that's leaking that I can't locate in NH parts because fuel system is for crate engine. I've looked at newer model similar size NH tractor parts schematics for feral & hand pump with no success. NH tech manual I have little to no help.
Thanks for any help,Jim

Thank you for the speedy reply & parts info. Do you happen to what model tractor has this type fuel system? The fuel return line(item 1) that attaches to top of pump that goes up to top of #1 injector is leaking at pump fitting. If I'm viewing parts schematic correctly it appears nut is attached to line.
Thanks again,Jim

I thought I researched the 6610 parts catalog before initiating this thread. I know I researched the later model 7740 but didn't find that style inj pump. If I looked at 6610 PC my research wasn't very thorough. I got the leak stopped on return line at pump by installed a brass ferrel. Boy that hand fuel pump is expensive to replace @ $138. Thanks again,Jim

I have another question. Can you please explain if spring in photo is designed to lower engine rrm's when throttle is placed in idle position. Before removing pump engine idled at about 800 rpm's now it idles about 1200 rpm's but can be made to idle at 800 by manually turning throttle shaft until linkage touches adjustable stop screw.
Thanks,Jim
