961 with 2 row corn picker

Interesting but the pictured tractor does not have the 2" spacers universally used with 9** tractors with mounted two row pickers.

FWIW: I sold a set of these spacers (with adapters) a few years ago. They are hard to find.

What a load on that poor 901. I didn't realize that New Idea even made a kit to mount that big picker on a Ford .Brings back memories, back to 1959 when I first fun a 16-66 picker- sheller from a dealership doing custom work, an all the acres I have run one on since. Ha, Mr. Bond, I see there is a auxiliary hydraulic remote valve on that tractor that would fit an NAA, I have a good detented valve that would fit that 961. Could we somehow trade

(quoted from post at 17:06:29 04/24/20) Those spacers only had to be used if you were running 14.9 28s. 13.6 28s will clear without spacers. It?s close but it works.

Ford9000puller, when are you picking it up?

I better just stick with Ford pickers and not venture in to New Ideas! Lol. Although it is pretty unique

No. The spacers referred to are two inches solid cast with 8 holes to use with a special nut bolt similar to the ones used with the pie wheel weight disc.
