NEED HELP how do i adjust the pto on my tractor it turns all the time unless it has a fairly resistant load on it
 
Brake band is either wore out or broken. Might be able to replace it by taking the cover off under the seat, not sure though I?ve never done one on the older smaller fords.

There is no brake band on that model.
 


put a cover over the shaft as protection for both you and the seal. The constant turning with exposure to dust is hard on the seal.

X2. There is no PTO brake on any pre-65 Ford that I'm aware of, especially not this one.
