860 power steering ghost at the wheel

I had replaced all of the lines on the 860 for power steering. For what
ever reason I lost the notes I made. I even posted on here asking for
help figuring out which lines go where on the cylinders.
I hooked my lines up and with the cylinder rods disconnected from drag
links I tried it out and things were backwards. So I switched 2 hoses.
That was weeks ago and just yesterday I thought I would try out the
steering. All I did was lightly pull the wheel to the left and all of a
sudden the wheel was yanked out of my hands and spun to the right. Im and
American so what did I do, I turned the wheel to the right and the ghost
yanked the wheel out of my hand again and spun the wheels the wrong way
again. I tried to slow down the wheel but it was stronger than I.
I don't want to admit the problem I found but, when trying to figure out
where the hoses went I thought that when the wheels turned left that the
left cyc pulled in and just the opposite on the other side. Boy was I
feeling stupid when I saw the steering work with the cylinders in place.
any way, I switched both lines on both cylinders on both sides and I am
good to go.

Im blaming this screw up on my young inexperienced age which is the same
as my "55' 860.

(quoted from post at 07:46:44 04/24/20) As you found out, you cant fight the laws of physics lol. Glad you got it figured out.

The laws of physics have proven many a man wrong. At least it was just your pride that was injured. Hydraulics are stronger than any man and in some circumstances can easily kill you before you know there's a problem.
